Today’s devotional is teaching us about the sanctification we receive from excepting Christ as our Savior. The moment that Christ made that sacrifice on the cross, we were given the ability to be washed free of all our sins and become a new person. Mankind likes to put levels on sin and think that they are not as bad as this person or that person, all sin is sin to God. It’s all bad, evil, and wrong. God sees all sin as a barrier between us and him. So whatever your sin is, is no better than that of the worst. We all fall short of the glory of God. We all need Him to forgive us so that we have the opportunity to change our collision course with Hell. There is no one who is hopeless. Every one of us has the ability to achieve greatness in His name. Sanctification in His name is absolute and complete, there is no further steps to be taken. Our life starts new and we are sin free like a newborn babe. Let your love and appreciation for all God has given us be the driving force behind your desire to love on and help others in His name. There is no greater gift and there is no greater change than your life without God in it, and the life and possibilities you have at your fingertips once you have given God leadership and rule over your life. There is nothing we can’t achieve when we have the power that created our universe inside us. Driving us to be more, and better each moment than the last. As we give Him lead over more of our life, our strength in Him grows, as does our knowledge, and desire to do good works. Just to help others, and make every effort to make the world better around us. Dont look at it as if its a job we will have to endure, but rather a privlidge that He lets you be a part of, so you can share in the great feeling that comes from doing unto others. I know when I am able to do something for God that I am aware of, there is no greater happiness in my day. Many times we are never aware of the seeds that we might plant, that through nurturing will grow into a life given to God for His purpose. That is true greatness on this earth.
