Today’s devotional is teaching us about the most effective way to accomplish our goals in life. We know that everything we have is a gift from the Lord, yet He does not abide laziness. So we should go to God first about all the desires of our heart. We are then to follow His command and work hard at every thing you do because we represent God when we claim to be His. So if we do our work with the best of our ability, as if we must toil from day light to dark for a need, and trust God to provide for our needs, then we shall find success. God rewards devotion and He will take care of His own. He has the benefit of knowing everything past and present so He provides what is best for us. He by no means is obligated too, it is a gift because He loves us. So if we work hard for something and it doesn’t come to us, then God knew that it would cause us pain. We have to know that God would never deprive us, but He certainly does protect us. So work hard for what you want in life because it means so much more when you worked for it, than if it were just handed to us. Treat others fairly and respect and appreciate those who work hard, for they are a gift in this day and time. Take just a moment to tell someone you see how hard they try every day, and you appreciate their efforts. Let God work through you to give someone a much needed boost. I don’t know anyone who was ever angry that someone appreciated their hard work and effort. We all should do that more often, just letting people know that others see their hard work. They aren’t invisible but an important part of God’s plan.
Thanks for sharing part of your day with me please enjoy this devotional from His Victorious Indwelling:
