Today’s devotional is teaching us about dealing with disappointments. We all face them and they are painful. We have to remember that God has not forgotten us and never will. He has given us several verses in the Bible to help us through different trials. Today’s devotional has many great ones. Almost like a cheat sheet for life. I have endured some really hard things in my lifetime, some I was the cause, do to my bad choices and some I was just dealt. However every time I look at a tragedy that has happened in my life, I also see the angels He sent to guide me through them. When I lost everything in a fire, I had many people give me furniture and things needed to start over. When my mother chose to leave us, we were so incredibly blessed to have a grandmother with amazing love right there to take care of us. No matter what happens in our lives, God has already prepared a way out. You are His child and He will not leave you scared and alone. Different times in our life teach us different lessons, but through it all if we stay on the road to Christ, our blessings will be abundant. Today is an important day for me. My Daddy was born on this day and he was my gift from God. To lead me to church and find my way in God. He would be 85 today. Happy Birthday Daddy. I know you are having a great party in Heaven. Today is also the day that I had my first date with my amazing husband. 24yrs ago and what a blessing and gift he has been. My personal superman. So in spite of the many hard times, I will consider my life as a blessed one and be thankful for all He has given me.
Thanks for sharing part of your day with me, please enjoy this devotional from Streams in the Desert.
