Today’s devotional is reminding us, that He is the God who formed this earth. He alone formed this earth and everything that is on it. There is nothing even close that you can compare Him too. In biblical times Idols were made of Gold, then carried from place to place. They had absolutely no power. They could accomplish nothing on their own. They were nothing, there is no secret side of them that can accomplish anything. They are certainly nothing that can be compared to our Father God, who shaped this planet and spoke it into existence. Today’s devotional is stressing that not only is He the one who brought us into existence, but that He has and always will, take care of our every need. He alone has the ability to handle anything that is coming toward us. It is important to remember that what is our future, is something He saw long ago, and it is His history. He already knows every minor detail. When we are old and grey and need to be taken care of, He did and will provide all that is needed. The devotional gives us funny scenarios about how our bodies begin to fall apart and we need assistance to do all we used to do alone, but struggle to do without assistance today. We still have the same mind, and heart, we just aren’t as strong as we used to be. It is extremely painful when we come to the realization that we arent what we used to be. God however never changes and His strength only grows. We know He created this world for us to inhabit it, and everything we will need for all of our future is here waiting for us to realize it’s potential. We truly could not need more, than He has already provided. Perspective is the key to our future. All we have to do is open our eyes and see all that He has given us. Thanks for sharing part of your day with me please enjoy this devotional from: Too Blessed to Stress.
