Today’s devotional is teaching us that we are to follow God’s direction. He has His eye on us and is watching over us at all times. God expects us to be responsible and do the right things as He has shown us in the Word. We aren’t to act or speak for others what we think God wants done in their lives. That is between them and God. You can’t force someone else to do the right thing. We are to act on God’s will, not what another man tells you that God means for your life. We should be in touch with God enough that we have a relationship and know what He is leading us to do. It is better to do nothing till you hear God give you direction, than to constantly be doing things you think would make God happy. Quality is much better than quantity. Doing one good thing right that God has lead you to do pleases Him more than if you just got up every day and worked from sun up till down doing what you think is God’s plan for you. Spend that time getting to know Him and His ways. He does keep that watchful eye over us and knows our heart. Humbly helping a bro in need and not taking the credit for it, instead saying this was from God, is something He sees and rewards. He lead me to be His hands and feet, and that is all the glory you need. In knowing you did God’s work. It truly is the most amazing feeling ever. God is to be our only guide so be Leary of just following the Word of others. Search out His plan for you by spending time in the Word. Seeing what you can accomplish for Him to be given the glory.
