Today’s devotional is teaching us to be cheerful and open your eyes to the amazing life God has chosen for us every minute if it is already planned perfectly. Just knowing this will open your eyes to how amazing our life is. Take joy in it and know that it will all work out for the perfect plan, designed around you. God doesn’t make mistakes, every moment has been thought out and planned purposely. Those who live with a healthy fear of God are the most aware and blessed.
A healthy fear is not often understood by this generation. When we were children, we knew if we did something wrong we would be punished. It certainly wasn’t because our parents didn’t love us, but rather that because they did, they had to set boundaries, and consequences. We knew we would not like the results if we did wrong, and most would stay away from the forbidden, because of that fear. This has nothing to do with abuse in any manner. A healthy fear of God’s punishment will keep you from being tempted to do something that we know is wrong. Keeping your eyes more focused on what God wants for us in His amazing plan. We can never go wrong when we put our faith in God.
