Today’s devotional is teaching us about our walk with Christ. When you have a close loving relationship with someone, a part of them is constantly with you. You can’t see something without their possible opinion coming to mind, or wanting to share it with them. When we have a right relationship with Christ as our Savior, He is with us every second of every day. We can’t complete a task that He wasn’t a part of. This should truly be the ultimate goal of everyone on this earth. There is no greater gift than having such a loving, giving, Savior at our side every moment. We all have times in our days that leave us with task we must accomplish, it often takes our time and attention, He is in our heart and mind as we go about those task. It is intricately important we spend time in the Word, everyday, to keep our defense barriers strong enough to resist the evil that is circling our existence. Christ took every step with you that day.
Let’s face it, we all have certain scriptures in the Bible that we may not like, not understand, or just down right don’t want to follow. Every word in those covers is exactly what God wanted you to have. There is a reason for every edict  in those pages. Just as a child might not understand a parents reasons for every rule, given time, it will all fall into a place where we come to an understanding of it’s  importance. God’s love for us is all encompassing and Christ, as our Savior truly wants nothing more than what is truly best for us. The plan He has for our lives will be understood one day. Until we reach that time, if we have Christ in our heart, we carry Him with us in every step of our day. Let us be ever mindful of this and be careful of where we take Him.
Thanks so much for sharing part of your day with me please enjoy this devotional from His Victorious Indwelling:
