Today’s devotional is teaching us about how amazing Christ is. He faced every temptation on this earth that we face, yet never gave in to sin. He chose to dine with sinners over saints. His power so intense, that touching the hem of His garment was enough to heal a disease. He never had hatred in His heart, only compassion for those in need of it, even if they weren’t aware themselves. He gave us all an example by which to live, and was full of forgiveness for those in need. Willing to suffer so that He could take away the punishment we have rightly earned, so that we are given chance after chance to get it right. Completely man, and completely Lord, but most importantly completely willing to suffer so we won’t have to. That is true unconditional love at it’s finest. All the suffering that Christ endured is beyond anything that we can imagine, and all so that we will have the opportunity to go to Heaven. So that He can be with us for all eternity, and allow us lowly humans an opportunity to see God in Heaven. He is pure agape love.
Christ never has stepped back from us as is worthy of His rank, He has stayed in all the lowly places, that house those who need Him the most. God gave us an amazing gift in Christ. A perfect shinning example, of His Word in action.
